About Me
Hi, I’m Mary Ellen. I’m so glad you’re here!
You don’t have to have everything figured out. I specialize in helping college students and young adults who are feeling anxious, uncertain, or stuck. My goal is to help you understand yourself better, manage your stress, and feel more grounded in your next steps.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. I have experience working with all ages from elementary school through adults.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness - but our work together is always tailored to you.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you reconnect with who you already are.
We’ll explore what’s really behind your anxiety or stress, make space for your emotions, and develop tools that actually fit your life.
You can expect:
A relaxed, nonjudgmental space
Honest, compassionate conversations
Practical skills to help you feel more in control and less overwhelmed
Interested but have questions or worries? Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to learn more about more what to expect.
